A self-guiding railfan tour

  1. NS Central of Georgia. This is the ex-CofG, and the tour is complete all the way from just east of Birmingham past downtown Columbus, Georgia. Go here for the tour.
  2. Eastern Alabama Railway. This shortline tour is complete over the route of the entire railroad, Sylacauga to Talladega. The tour is here.
  3. CSX Sunset Route East. Part of a much larger tour that goes all the way to Sneads, Florida, which is close to Tallahassee. The Alabama portion starts at Nokomis, goes to Flomaton, and then goes straight south into Florida towards Pensacola. This tour is here.
  4. NS Crescent Route. This is part of a much bigger tour, leading all the way from New Orleans to Washington, DC. The Tour is here.
  5. NS Chattanooga - Memphis. In Alabama, the completed portion runs between Sheffield Yard and the Mississippi border. The Tour is here.
